The AVI Health Centre clinic nurse provides services in our primary health care setting to clients with a wide variety of health care needs, which often include mental health, addiction, and or infectious disease issues.



A key member of our interdisciplinary team, our clinic nurse provides:  Blood collection, wound care, harm reduction education,  immunizations including  Hep A & B  and flu shots, PAP smears, STI testing and treatment, 1 minute HIV Point of Care testing, HIV Care team nursing, blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring, nutrition counselling, etc.

Our Nurse now draws blood at the clinic!!
